This scholarship program will be open to all Native Canadian students residing on the various reservations in Ontario who are presently enrolled full time in secondary school. There is a maximum of two (2) student application from each school.
Application candidates must hold Native Canadian Status and be a secondary student intending to begin university in the following September.
Application requirements:
- Full time registration and attendance in a secondary school program
- Native Canadian Status in accordance with the federal laws of Canada
- Proof of age (candidates must 21 years of age or younger)
- Copy of current academic transcripts and one year prior to application date
- Detailed listing of extra-curricular and community activities engaged in the year of application
- Preparation of an essay to describe the academic future the student wishes to engage and why the student believes they should be considered for this scholarship
- Written reference letter from a teacher/guidance counselor or principal of the secondary school they currently attend.
HATCH MCMASTER ENGINEERING ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

Two (2) scholarships in the amount of $48,000 each will be awarded annually to undergraduate students entering Engineering I at McMaster University. These awards are renewable for three years at the same value ($12,000 per year) provided the student remains registered full-time and achieves a Sessional Average of at least 9.5 (out of 12) with no failures.
The Hatch Scholarship will be awarded based on:
1. an admissions average of at least 95%;
2. demonstration of leadership experience and attributes;
3. involvement in extra-curricular and/or volunteer activities in the community; and
4. two (2) letters of reference.
HARRY W. ARTHURS – YORK SCHOLARSHIP

You must seek admission into you first year of undergraduate study, be a child or grandchild of a York University degree graduate, have a minimum admission average of 90% (based on 4U/M courses or equivalent), and have a demonstrated record of participation and leadership in extracurricular student life. Grade range: 90-95%; Value $24,000 ($6,000 x 4 years)
LM SCHOLARSHIP

Students are eligible for this scholarship if they are enrolled in a degree program (2 years or longer) by September 2016, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and attending a school in Canada/US. Finally the student must complete an essay on the posted topic (click on the link for more information).
NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (U OF TORONTO)

The University of Toronto National Book Award Program is intended to recognize and reward the very best Canadian secondary school students, regardless of which university those students choose to attend. These are students who demonstrate superior academic performance, original and creative thought, and exceptional achievement in a broad context. They excel in academic pursuits, demonstrate enthusiasm for intellectual exploration and have a strong involvement in the lives of their schools and communities. Each secondary school in Canada is invited to nominate one student on the basis of these criteria.

QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY MAJOR ADMISSION AWARD

Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership qualities can apply for a major admission award. Financial need is also a consideration for some of our major admission awards.
SCHULICH LEADER SCHOLARSHIPS

Awarded to students studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) $60,000 in scholarship money is available. All nominees (only 1 per school) will receive a certificate of Nomination. See Guidance if you would like to be selected for our nominee.
TOM RAYNER AWARD

awarded to students who will be enrolled in an Undergraduate Music Program (preference to vocal programs) or a Bachelor of Education in Music. Award funded by the Associated Male Choruses of Ontario. An interview will be required. (Value $700, $600, $500)

U OF WATERLOO FACULTY OF MATH SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES

The University of Waterloo and the Faculty of Mathematics together offer entrance scholarships to students who accept their offer of admission and meet the requirements. The Faculty of mathematics offers as many as 200 scholarships ranging from $1000 to full cost. In addition, the University of Waterloo offers entrance scholarships based on grades and bursaries based on financial need.

U of waterloo peace innovator scholarship & mentoring program

Be a peace innovator.
The Peace Innovators Scholarship & Mentoring Program equips young leaders like you with skills to tackle a problem you’re passionate about in your community. You will network with other leaders in high schools across Ontario, and by the end of one year, you will launch an event or campaign to address your cause.

The Vari Scholarship/Bursary for Future Teachers
(up to $50,000: $10,000/year for 4 years of undergraduate study and $5,000/year of a 2-year program leading to the Ontario Teacher's Certificate of Qualification)
Through a very generous donation from the George and Helen Vari Foundation, Victoria College offers an admission award valued at $10,000 to a student who plans to pursue a career in teaching at the primary or secondary level in Ontario.
The award of $10,000 is renewable for three years of undergraduate studies, and $5,000 each year of a 2-year program leading to the Ontario Teacher's Certificate of Qualification, for a total value of $50,000. Students must demonstrate excellence in academics (90%+ average), as well as a genuine interest in teaching. Details and application information are sent to Ontario secondary schools each fall.
WESTERN UNIVERSITY NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

We are again pleased to advise all Municipalities in Ontario of the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) 2017 Bursary Awards Program to assist students with the 2017-2018 academic year at university. The value of each bursary is $1,500 and up to ten (10) children/dependents of municipal employees and Councilors entering a university engineering program will be selected from across the Province.
