University Information

Student Population
• Full-time undergraduate population of 26,926.

New Programs
• New Bachelor of One Health (includes co-op option).
• Bachelor of Arts: New majors in Creative Writing and Sexualities, Genders and Social Change.
• Bachelor of Arts: Co-op option added to Culture and Technology Studies major.
• Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management: Co-op option added to Environmental Management and Equine Management majors.
• Bachelor of Science: Co-op option added to Plant Science, and Wildlife Biology and Conservation majors.
• Diploma in Turfgrass Management: Mandatory Co-op added.
• New minors in Black Canadian Studies and Linguistics.

Program Changes
• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture: Previous major Crop, Horticulture and Turfgrass Sciences is now 2 separate majors – Crop Science and Horticulture.
• Bachelor of Applied Science: PSK4U is now a science option for admission to the Child Studies, and Family Studies and Human Development majors.
• Bachelor of Engineering: For fall 2022, required courses are: ENG4U, MHF4U, MCV4U, SPH4U, SCH4U and 1 additional 4U/M course.
• Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management: Effective for fall 2023 admission, required courses for Equine Management will be ENG4U, SBI4U, SCH4U and one 4U Math course, plus 2 additional 4U/M courses.
• Bachelor of Commerce: Hospitality and Tourism Management major has been suspended for fall 2022 admission.
