The University has grown over the years and expanded its services in three communities. Thousands of people have been able to pursue university education in their region and over 1,000 have earned a degree. Most of these graduates have found work in North-Eastern Ontario.
The University offers its students a whole range of services, including resource centres, learning commons, computer labs, interactive videoconferencing classrooms, French consultation centres, residence and cafeteria.
Université de Hearst offers undergraduate three-year and four-year programs in the following fields:
the block plan;
studying in a smaller institution fosters closer ties between professors and students;
it’s easier to adapt to university life in a smaller institution;
studying in one’s own community limits costs to tuition fees and educational supplies;
the University offers several scholarships and bursaries;
the institution offers solid training and a quality education in fields in which jobs are available now and openings are expected in the near future.
