Windsor is so far south that Detroit, Michigan is actually NORTH of us!
The City of Windsor, one of Ontario's best kept secrets, and the proud International Gateway between Canada and the United States of America is an incredible community that offers world-class entertainment, historical and cultural landmarks, unparalleled waterfront parks and greens.
Visitors will find a city committed to being a creative and vibrant destination that encourages artistic expression and celebrates our cultural identity and diversity; we are the 2nd most diverse city in Ontario and the 4th most diverse in Canada.

We are in the Great Lakes Region and are surrounded by 160 KM of shoreline. We have access to music festivals, the world's second-largest film festival in Canada, diverse restaurants, and access to a 5km RiverFront Trail.
The Art scene in Windsor is impressive! Everything from local artists selling their pieces in boutiques in Walkerville to professional artists exhibiting their works at the Art Gallery of Windsor.

Windsor has some of the longest warm seasons within Ontario. We are the southernmost point in Canada - it is located on the same latitude as Northern California and Rome, Italy! We have some of the warmest temperatures within the country.
The bustling metropolis of Detroit is right across the river. Take the Tunnel Bus to Detroit for an afternoon of shopping, a big concert or a game of professional hockey, baseball, football, or basketball game.
