• Despite Tyler’s sisters being academic geniuses, Tyler was an average student, maintaining Cs and B’s throughout school. He was often seen as the example of what not to do, which created lasting resentment between him and his father. 

• His strengths lay in history, being able to grasp historical patterns, and mathematics, especially when applied to business and real-world problem solving. On the other hand, he struggled with abstract concepts and formula-heavy classes when it came to the science subject, and with English, he found it hard to articulate ideas through essays and often clashed with analytical writing

• When it came to his school path, he was the first to attend private school until his sophomore year, when he was expelled due to behavioral issues and confrontations with authority figures. Upon transferring to public school, he met Harrison Blackwood and Donatello King, forming his closest friendships. 

• Upon enrolling in college, he was the first of the Atlas siblings to attend university, where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Culinary Arts. 

• Briefly, he joined a fraternity during his first week on campus and left one week later due to the toxic behavior, realizing it didn’t align with his values.

• At the beginning of their dynamic, Marceline’s siren magic did influence Tyler to a degree, but not enough to control him. If anything, her presence calmed in a way that was almost addictive. Whenever she would come into Masion de Minuit after she finished a shift at one of her jobs, Tyler would talk to her regularly. It got to a point where he’d try to come up with new dishes to make (and Andrew Larson hated him for it). 

• Before Marceline, Tyler had a fear of the ocean. Mainly because of his fear of Orcas, however, Marceline helped him overcome his fear when they swam in the Gulf of Mexico. She didn’t throw him in the deep end, but they took it step by step and went at his own pace. When swimming with Marceline, Tyler discovered that his favorite marine animal is the Lionfish.

• When Marceline and Tyler developed their dynamic, Tyler wouldn’t use generic pet names for her; instead, he calls her “Angelfish”.

• The first date Tyler took Marceline on, they traveled to Los Angeles. This was the first time Tyler showed how much money he had and how wealthy his family was. During this time, Tyler took her to various food vendors so he could find her “perfect bite” of food and make her a meal that was memorable.

• Tyler Anthony Atlas is the firstborn within the Atlas family. At the age of three, he became a big brother when Rosalie Atlas was brought into the world. Even though he was too young to fully understand the responsibility that came with the role, his protective instincts took root within him. 

• As the years progressed and Tyler had discovered his ability of fire manipulation after having an emotional outburst triggered by Rosalie’s childish behavior. Accidentally setting a small house fire, this marked the first uncontrolled use of his powers. His connection to heat, anger, and power began forming there, though it initially caused fear within his family. In addition to awakening his abilities, Victoria Atlas was adopted into the family, making him a big brother to two little sisters.

• At the age of 19, after witnessing a heated argument between Rosalie and her then-boyfriend Christopher Lockhart, something about the way Christopher handled Rosalie stuck with Tyler. He was too controlling, too threatening. From that moment, Christopher Lockhart was mentally marked as a threat and someone to keep a close eye on. Within the same year, Tyler learned from Victoria that Rosalie was being abused by Christopher, at least on the emotional aspect, from her known knowledge. With the information at hand, a quiet storm brewed within Tyler.

• Attempting to keep his anger in check, he later found a beautiful distraction that hit too close to home, Natalia Andrews, Rosalie’s best friend. What started off as casual deepened into his first introduction and connection to love. They kept their romance hidden from Rosalie, afraid of how she would react. The relationship between the two lasted for about two years until Tyler himself sabotaged it. 

• When Tyler turned 21, he didn’t celebrate with his friends by drinking or jumping around bars; instead, he spent it sitting in the family room of the Atlas Estate after learning Rosalie was hospitalized after attempting suicide, caused by long-buried trauma. After her release and confession of the full truth of the events that caused the domino effect, Tyler sought out confirmation from Sloane Blackwood. With the truth in hand, he finally unleashed the full force of his power. 

• Awakening his Hellfire form, complete with demonic features, Tyler sought out to attack Christopher Lockhart. Beating him within an inch of his life, having law enforcement being involved, Claud Atlas later stepped in to settle things like another wealthy billionaire would. Paying for silence and striking a deal, a deal that Tyler viewed as a betrayal. 

• With Claud pressuring to finish school and leaving the state quietly after his graduation, he sabotaged his own relationship with Natalia, claiming he never loved her and only used her for his own pleasure. Natalia did not know this was a lie. Tyler loved her deeply, but would rather see her happy and not with someone who could be triggered by rage and turn into something out of Hell. 

• Finally graduating before his 25th birthday, as part of the deal with the Lockhart's, Tyler left Washington and relocated to New Orleans. With help from his father, and having his own heart-to-heart with him on the drive. After a few months of isolation, Tyler later opened Maison de Minuit. A hybrid bar and restaurant in the French Quarter. Shortly after opening Maison de Minuit, he became aware of supernatural creatures: Vampires, Witches, and Werewolves. Using their skills to his advantage, he hired them to run his bar. 

• Sometime after, Sloane Blackwood visits New Orleans specifically for Tyler to celebrate her 21st birthday, tragedy structure again. His once childhood play-sibling turned into something he didn’t know about, but heard rumors of. Something ancient and old, he learned later, after she woke up, that she had become an Ice Demon after a near-fatal encounter with a vampire. From that point on, Tyler created a golden rule for his bar and the surrounding areas near it: “No hunting, harming, or supernatural warfare within or near Maison de Minuit.”

• With hiring Sloane as a co-bartender and later making her co-owner, Tyler encounters Marceline Deveraux, a mysterious woman who had a presence that stirred something in him, an attraction that felt uncomfortable, dangerous, and had him craving for something more.
