• Rosalie and Louie’s dynamic began with a one-night stand. Waking up the next morning, Rosalie left Louie’s apartment in a hurry since she felt out of character sleeping with a stranger, let alone subconsciously using him to reclaim her body. Of course, Louie didn’t mind since he felt an immediate attraction towards her. Louie had been accustomed to darkness all his life, having lived as a former hitman, and Rosalie was a ray of light that he needed in his life. When they interacted during school hours, Rosalie as a student and Louie as a Teacher’s assistant, Louie had given her the nickname “Bunny” as a way of poking fun at her for running out on him the morning after they had sex. 

• When Rosalie and Louie discovered they were in the same program, they decided to start their dynamic over as friends, but there was still sexual tension between them. Louie would flirt with her, address her by “Bunny” over social media direct messages, even push her buttons with small acts of intimacy (i.e, touch her cheek, brush hair out of her face, look at her with bedroom eyes). However, he never crossed her boundaries but took what he could get. When he learned about Nathaniel, he distanced himself. He viewed it as a sign that he didn’t deserve her, but he still loved her before he knew what love even was.

• When Rosalie started showing during her pregnancy, she relocated from the guest house to the main house with Louie. Her guest bedroom was decorated similarly to her old room back at the Atlas Estate, but with a more mature touch. During this time, Louie also attended doctors' appointments and helped Rosalie name her soon-to-be daughter, Kalmiya, in honor of the fictional character from the Halo series.

• After finally returning to Washington, Rosalie brought Louie home to meet her friends and family. In addition, both worked at Atlas Technologies for a time until Louie proposed the idea of starting their own company specializing in cybersecurity and Physical Security (i.e., bodyguards). Louie is the one who suggested the name Voltaic Security; however, since he knew it was Rosalie’s dream to start her own company as a sister branch to Atlas Technologies, he suggested that Rosalie become the CEO, while he would be the Chief of Physical Security. 

• From a young age, Rosalie Annalise Atlas displayed a deep connection to technology, discovering her technopath abilities at just the age of 10 years old. A couple of years later, she met Sloane Blackwood and Natalia Andrews, two friends who would become foundational in her life. She introduced them to her adopted sibling, Victoria. Together, the girls became inseparable.

• Moving into her middle school years, Rosalie developed a crush on her classmate Christopher Lockhart. In the beginning, it was a dreamlike relationship. Christopher was charming, attentive, and everything Rosalie thought love was supposed to be. However, the dream soon turned into a living nightmare. 

• Almost as if overnight, when they reached adolescence and went into emerging adulthood, Christopher became abusive. He was possessive, emotional, mentally, and physically abusive towards Rosalie. What Rosalie believed at the time was that passion became coercion. She had isolated herself from loved ones, holding onto the belief that if she just loved harder, obeyed more, and endured long enough, the pain, the emotional and physical would eventually stop. 

• Despite dealing with Hell reincarnate, that was Christopher Lockhart, Rosalie found time to distract herself when she was alone in her room. On the nights she couldn’t sleep due to the nightmares that almost felt too real, she’d play video games. On one evening, while playing one of her favorite video games, her life became permanently altered by an entity unknown to her. 

• During a thunderstorm, lightning struck her house at the right time and place, a lightning bolt that marked the beginning of her rebirth. Rosalie was spiritually and metaphysically bound to a cosmic entity that took the image of the last thing she saw. A voltaic knight, the voltaic knight gifted her enhanced strength, healing, and electrical abilities. He became her guardian angel and her guide; from there, she named him Malric.

• Throughout her time together, Malric had protected Rosalie from harm, even if it was from someone whom she loved through rose-tinted glasses. Carrying Malric with her throughout adolescence, he was there for all the important stages of her life. From middle school, high school, and going into college. 

• After adjusting to her new normal, another player had entered her game. One night, after wallowing in her choices of ending her relationship with Christopher or just killing him herself for all the pain he caused. She met the dark and mysterious Louie Kim. A man who held himself with confidence, a darkness that seemed to draw her in, but there was a warmth in his smile and the way he talked and listened to her in a dimly lit bar. 

• Louie Kim was gentle, respectful, and attentive, all the things Christopher Lockhart was not. Rosalie ended up having her first consensual sexual experience with Louie, even though it was a one-night stand. Rosalie would hold in her memory forever, she left Louie’s apartment before sunrise. While on her journey back to her dorm room on campus, Rosalie was confronted by Christopher Lockhart.

• Upon their confrontation, Rosalie discovered that Christopher was not only a toxic partner but a literal demon. The relationship ended, leaving Rosalie fractured but free. 

• As her years in college progressed, Rosalie focused not only on her studies but learning about herself. In addition to pursuing Cyber Engineering with a minor in Game Design, which allowed her to delve deeper into her passions while reclaiming her identity, Rosalie encountered a man who would ultimately alter her life once again. Nathaniel Lee.

• The dynamic between Nathaniel Lee and Rosalie was like any other college romance. Nathaniel treated Rosalie with care and respect; their relationship started platonically, but eventually transitioned into a friends-with-benefits dynamic. One, Rosalie initially embraced it as a way to reclaim her body and sexuality on her own terms. However, as she healed, she also fell in love. 

• As the dynamic between the two progressed, Rosalie finally confessed her true feelings to Nathaniel, and he gently rejected her. He claimed he didn’t see a future with her but was willing to maintain their intimate dynamic. Heartbroken and conflicted, Rosalie chose to remain close to him, even if it meant compromising her own heart, just to feel wanted. 

• Months later, after her college graduation and starting her new position at her father’s company, Atlas Technologies, everything changed. Rosalie had discovered she was pregnant with Nathaniel’s child. Terrified and emotionally overwhelmed, Rosalie left Washington without telling anyone except Victoria. 

• Traveling to Georgia, seeking solitude to sort through the future, fate had intervened. There, she was reunited with Louie Kim, the man she never forgot. 

• After the months spent in Georgia with Louie, Rosalie had an at-home birth and brought her daughter, Kalmiya Iris Atlas-Lee, into the world. Rosalie began building herself anew.
