• Tragedy struck again when Lucia was murdered by a corrupt NCO, mirroring the loss of his sister and deepening Trevor's sense of helplessness and guilt. After failing to bring Lucia’s killer to justice, Trevor left the Army after finishing his contract, unable to picture his time without Lucia by his side to push and motivate him like they originally planned, disillusioned but determined to find a new path to protect others.

• After receiving his disability rating from Veteran Affairs, a new medical provider, and a nightstand filled with medication that was his own personal pharmacy, Trevor decided to have an additional outlet for his stress and to shut his brain off. Falling into online multiplayer gaming during his re-entry to civilian life, he met Louie Kim in a Battlefield game lobby; the two became fast friends after multiple nights of playing games together and venting about each other's days.

• Months later, after having jobs and later quitting them due to his temper, PTSD, Trevor reached out to Louie for work as a last-ditch effort and was hired through Voltaic Tech & Security as a private bodyguard. Through Louie, Trevor was introduced to Rosalie Atlas and eventually assigned to her childhood friend, pop star Natalia Andrews, after news of her stalker broke

• Despite maintaining a professional front, Trevor developed a hidden attraction to Natalia, drawn to her warmth, confidence, and light, which contrasted with his shadowed past.

• After Trevor and Natalia had their initial meeting about schedules, Trevor was the one who insisted on living with her in her penthouse for her safety. At first, Natalia didn’t like how early Trevor woke up and made references that he wasn’t in the Army anymore; however, eventually, she discovered that waking up early was beneficial to her schedule.
