The Walton STEM Academy will be showcasing the three pathways of the STEM academy: Advanced Math and Science, Biomedical Sciences, and Engineering. Each pathway will showcase a unique component of the pathway's curriculum.
The Walton High School STEM Academy provides a challenging and supportive environment where students can explore their passions and talents in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. What sets Walton’s STEM Academy apart is its cohort-based structure, which fosters collaboration and lasting relationships among like-minded, motivated students. The Academy features three distinct pathways, Engineering, Biomedical Science, and Computer Science, each with a pathway-specific curriculum that allows students to pursue their individual interests in depth. Our program includes the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum in the Biomedical Science (BMS) and Engineering (ENG) pathways and offers early access to STEM-focused Advanced Placement (AP) courses in the Accelerated Math and Science (AMS) pathway. Beyond rigorous academics, Walton students benefit from a rich tradition of achievement and a culture that values well-rounded growth. We encourage participation in a wide range of extracurricular activities, from the social sciences and fine arts to athletics and community service, helping students become not only university-ready but also prepared for life beyond the classroom.
