Welcome
The Village of Rutland Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services exercises jurisdiction over Village parks and recreational facilities, programs and services, as well as the provision of human services, contributing to the sustainability and improvement of the comfort, welfare and quality of life of the general public.
The Department works with the Department of Public Service with overseeing and ensuring the care and maintenance of the James Vennari Memorial Park, Sammy Robinson Field, and the Rutland Civic Center. The Department additionally organizes and implements recreational events, programs, services and beautification projects.
