Concrete Work

Section 152.003 of the Rutland Municipal Code requires a property owner to file application for a Concrete Work Permit prior to the commencement of concrete or masonry work within the corporation limits of the Municipality, when such work involves the construction of a curb of a public street or roadway, driveway approach or apron, or sidewalk within the public right-of-way.

Plan Requirements

• The construction of a concrete or asphalt driveway apron will not involve the removal, impedance or interference of a curb catch basin.

• The proposed concrete or asphalt driveway apron will have a minimum width of ten feet upon completion of construction.

• The proposed concrete or asphalt driveway apron will have a minimum one and one half inch lip abutting the edge of the public street or roadway.

• The proposed concrete or asphalt driveway apron will have a sloped curb cut.
