On the third week of my field study, I was worried because I didn't have class with my cooperating teacher. Ramona's schedule had been changed, so I had to find another teacher to do duty with. Luckily, I could work with Mme Vhie, and it was a good day.
We went to the section she was teaching, Narra, and they had a group presentation about solid waste that involved singing. I was impressed with how creative the students were in creating content for the music. However, as the critic, I had to give honest feedback and critique their performance. Despite this, I was happy to see how much they had learned and were committed to their project.
After the first period, we observed the students in 10-mahogany taking the Regional Diagnostic Test. However, im disappointed that the students weren't taking the test seriously. Many were guessing instead of testing their knowledge to see how much they had learned. It was frustrating that they weren't putting in the effort to see how much they had truly learned.
Once the Regional Diagnostic Test was over, some students said goodbye to practice for their performance because they were assigned to the flag ceremony. And just like that, the third day of my duty ended.
