How to log attendance directions

Learning Coach Account:

1. Sign in to the LC account https://login-learn.k12.com/#login using your LC username/password.

2. Select Attendance (Left hand side)

3. Enter Class Connect attendance to the appropriate course, enter attendance for all course work on the online school, and supplemental hours. Always choose the default time unless your student worked more than the expected time.

4. In the example above you’ll notice I added a 30 min class connect time in addition to the 60 min online course work.

5. You will find the total attendance hours on the bottom right corner. Students who begin on the first day of the school year are expected to log   990 hours by the end of the year.  Students who begin schooling at VAVA later in the school year will receive modified attendance guidelines.

6. If your student will not be completing work in the OMHS (sick day, vacation, or personal day), please mark a day off on the OLS Calendar and fill out the Absence Request Form.

K12 mobile app:

1. Download K12 mobile app.

2. Select Coach, and enter username/password.

3. On the welcome page select Attendance

4. Enter Class Connect attendance to the appropriate course, enter attendance for completed course work on the online school, and supplemental hours. Always choose the default time unless your student worked more than the expected time.

5. Please note, if your student does not attend school  and you only use the app for attendance you will need to enter 0’s to show 0 hours worked so we can have an accurate attendance report.
