brief
In this project, students will work in groups to design a Nature Observatory Post within the National Botanical Garden. The objective is to create a space where visitors can appreciate and observe a selected subject within the garden's ecosystem, offering an immersive and educational experience. Each observatory post should comfortably accommodate two people within a 50-square-meter area. The design should incorporate innovative concepts, sustainable materials, and technologies to promote accessibility and environmental stewardship. Students need to research tropical subjects for observation, exploring aspects such as behavior, habitat, and interactions, and consider architectural principles, material effects, and spatial qualities. The structure should consist of at least 70% dry construction, with up to 30% wet construction permitted. This project involves groups of three members.
