MYREKA-REASI CLUSTER
brief
This project involved designing a Creative and Recreational Hub within Taman Wawasan Recreational Park, guided by site analysis, community needs, and environmental sensitivity. The proposal aimed to respond to both context and climate through thoughtful narratives and spatial strategies. Emphasis was placed on designing enclosures that engage with environmental poetics while minimizing ecological impact. By exploring complex spatial arrangements and passive design methods, the project sought to create a space that blends seamlessly with its surroundings and fosters meaningful community interaction.
outcome
In this project, I explored how environmental qualities and contextual needs can inform sustainable design strategies within a suburban park setting. By responding to the site’s natural features, history, and socio-cultural patterns, I developed a simple yet meaningful architectural proposal rooted in both function and user experience. The design process involved studying materiality and detailing as tools to shape atmosphere and connection. Through drawings, physical and digital models, and verbal presentation, I communicated a design narrative based on clustered spatial typologies that aimed to foster a strong sense of place and community.
