Paloma is a 2L at the University of San Diego School of Law. Originally from Stockton, CA, she is the first person in her family to attend law school. Paloma graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Interdisciplinary Honors Studies from the Weber Honors College.
Paloma came to law school with the hopes of becoming a public defender. She has a passion for working with indigent communities, and enjoys every opportunity to step away from the books and do hands-on work. Throughout her 1L year, she volunteered with the SMART Program, Domestic Violence Clinic, and Clean Slate Clinic. Working with people is her favorite part of pro-bono work and that's why she is so excited to be the Clean Slate Chair!
Paloma is also a die-hard 49er fan who enjoys going to the beach with her dog and listening to podcasts in her free time.
