You will graduate and:
Be prepared to work in infant/toddler centers, Early Head Start programs, home-visiting programs, and other early childhood settings that do not require licensure but alternatively require Gateways to Opportunity credentials.
Qualify for Gateways to Opportunity credentials, including ECE Level 5, Infant Toddler Care Level 5, Family Child Care Level 5, and/or the Illinois Director Credential.
Bring a strong foundation in child development, responsive caregiving, and culturally affirming practices.
Apply knowledge of infant and toddler development to support young children and their families.
Use developmental screenings and assessments to inform early intervention strategies.
