Through personalized support, workshops, and career resources, they guide students in building strong resumes, practicing interviews, exploring career paths, and making connections that lead to meaningful work.
Marissa Dordick is the Career Advisor for Undergraduate Education majors for Chicago and online students.
She has a passion for providing students with resources for professional and personal success. Marissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Northern Illinois University.
Whether you’ve never stepped foot in a classroom or you’ve been in one for the past 6 years, an updated resume is essential to best represent yourself, your applicable skills, and stand out from other candidates.

Work with your Career Advisor to prepare and submit the following materials:
Resume
Cover letter
Goals statement
Career Bridge will review your submission. If approved, you’ll be granted a waiver and will not need to take these courses.
