What does Commencement/graduation mean to you?

It is an achievement that has been done with hard work, sleepless nights, and lots of time being put into studying. 

Did you have to overcome any difficult challenges during your education to make it to graduation? If so, what were they?

Passing my content exam was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I’m so glad my parents helped by encouraging me to not give up. 

What has your experience at NLU been like?

Everyone is so welcoming. NLU is a big community that offers many resources for people to become successful in their studies. I’m so grateful and proud to become an NLU Alumni. 

What are your plans for the future?

I strive to be a Bilingual Kindergarten teacher.
