There are limited parking spaces in the rear car park for residents, so it is usually not possible to grant a space to every resident who requests one. Priority is given to those studying outside of the city, resident tutors, graduates, returning students, then by order of greatest need. We try to take individual circumstances and needs into account. There are ample public transport options nearby, so please consider whether a car park is absolutely necessary for you.
All matters concerning car parking should be addressed to the Registrar.
You will receive a gate fob to access the parking area and your account will be charged with the parking fee each semester.
Residents must park in their allocated space only and are not permitted to secure parking rights on behalf of others or share a parking space.
If another person parks in your designated space, you need to contact Guest Services or the Registrar, please do not park in another student’s space in the interim.
If you leave College, you are not permitted to automatically pass your car park to another person – our Registrar needs to be informed and generally has a wait list of interested parties.
No resident is allowed to park on grass areas or areas that do not have designated parking bays.
The front car park is reserved for staff and short term visitors for official College business only. Residents are not to use this car park at any time.
No. The College is not responsible for theft or damage to cars parked within the grounds.
All unauthorised cars parked in the front or back car park, in the roundabout at the front of the College, or parked outside of their allocated bays, may be towed away (as they may impede access for emergency vehicles or otherwise compromise the safety of residents and visitors).
Where costs are incurred by the College, liquidated damages may be imposed – see our Code of Conduct for more information.
