Residents are welcome to have digital musical equipment, radio, lamp and computer in their rooms.
Items such as hairdryers and shavers should be returned to your own room after use (not left in shared bathrooms).

No cookers, kettles or toasters are allowed in student rooms as these constitute a fire risk and are available in the kitchenettes.
Fridges are available in the kitchenettes in each wing. No personal fridges are allowed in student rooms unless approved by the Dean of Students. Approval will be based on medical need only and upon submission of supporting documentation. If approved, the College will provide a medical fridge for the duration of the resident contract. The resident is responsible for the reasonable care (including reporting of faults to Facilities) and return of the fridge at the end of their contract.
For safety reasons, all electrical equipment, except if it is brand new, should be tested and tagged. Residents can have their electrical equipment tested and tagged at no charge upon request.
