RNG Rolls

Introduction

What are the RNG rolls, and why are they happening? I'm afraid I said too many times that all that happens in our group happens for fun. But I dare to say it again - for fun.

As an important note, it's worth stating that you can choose whether you want it or not as you fill in the form for the UaKU show. As well, if you want to use it for the regular title set, you may ask our admin to randomly roll the set for you.

The rolls are majorly dedicated to the roleplay purpose. Different options and levels of difficulty are designed to make things more interesting and unpredictable.

Currently, the system applies only to sports activities. Misbehaviour and injury rolls are basically the possibilities of bad accidents, so we do not include the good variants of scenarios as they are good by default.

We would suggest this system to be used for young/newly-trained dogs but the choice is always up to you!

Misbehaviour rolls

Misbehaviour rolls will define what kind of behaviour your dog reflects during its participation in the sport.

The points will be deducted from the entry depending on the difficulty of one or another choice that was rolled by the admin who judges the show.

Minor misbehaviour

seen a bird and stared at it too long
seen a squirrel and stared at it too long
seen a cat and stared at it too long
somebody whistled/made a loud sound in the crowd and the dog turned its head towards and stared for a few seconds
confused the command
was too lazy/slow
was too quick/too much energised
got spooked by a rodent or small critter
laid down without the command
sat down without the command
got up without the command
decided to "beg" without the command
got too happy to see the judge, couldn't keep sitting but calmed down quickly
seen another dog in the court and been time to time checking on it
went into action early
went into action late
went to a different side
showed minor sighs of stress: ears back, tail tucked, etc
was too on drive and would commit the commands a few times
time to time would get interrupted
showed the nose into the handler's hand/pocket searching for a treat or a toy
all the time would check on the crowd to see mommy/daddy
got too worried and vomited/defecated but after some petting could continue
licked the judge's hand
was whining all the way and yipping silently

Moderate misbehaviour

(-5 points)

started running away to play but returned within a second
barked non-stop for no reason but the handler managed to shush it
put the paws on the judge and licked their face
started chewing on the leash
refused to commit a few commands
chewed the obstacles
decided to take a nap
went to the crowd to play
was making various sounds without a need
listened to the command somebody yelled from the crowd
got hungry and ate something from the floor
noticed a rodent or a small critter and started chasing it
found itself being afraid of one/two obstacles (game animals)
missed a few obstacles
started digging the ground
tried to... hump the obstacle/leg
confused the legs of the cameraman to the legs of its handler
got spooked by a loud sound
found some sh*t and started rolling in it
was following bitch in heat, refused to come up
disappeared as run after the game but was found in 3 days (hunting disciplines only)
encountered another game animal while chasing the previous one and rushed after it (hunting disciplines only)

Severe misbehaviour

(DQ)

bit the judge, bit the handler
run away from the show area
seen a cat and rushed after it ignoring the handler
found itself being afraid of the obstacles
totally ignored the handler
behaved aggressively with another dog
went to the crowd and stole some food from the spectator's hands
looked totally scared and distressed, was hiding in the legs of the handler

Injury rolls

Injury rolls will define what kind of injury your dog receives during its participation in the sport.

Unlike misbehaviour rolls, injury rolls will not deduct the points from the entry of your dog

You can ask for the death option to be excluded from the list which will be marked as 💀

Timing

If you'd want to put even a bigger realistic aspect into the game, you may ask us to set a timer, while your dog is healing. Depending on the injury, the healing time increases or decreases.

Minor injuries: 3 days
Moderate injuries: 1 week
Serious injuries: 2 weeks
Fatal injuries: 3 weeks
