Collaborative entries are permitted and encouraged in UaKU. A collaborative entry is drawn by a few people.
A collaborative entry is considered to be a story, drawn or crafted art.
The overall effort will be judged by analysing the galleries of the authors of the drawing.
The points will be separated between the participants, fairly evaluating the efforts they made for a certain part of the entry, eventually resulting in one final mark for the entry. You can make a collab in a few ways, but they must be of equal effort.
Only people who own the dog entrants may make a collab. You can not collaborate with a person, who doesn't take part in this show.
Collaborations for extra images will follow the same rules.
Currently, not all collaborations can be commissioned.
If a dog is drawn that doesn't belong to the artist of the entry, it will not receive additional points if it also participates in the show.
Your entry must include credits for all the artists who contributed to it, ideally with a brief description of who drew what.
The ways below are the possible ways to make the collabs. The method of the collabs creation should be stated in the entry information.
Extras follow the same rules.
Work on the background can be separated up to you.
We may add more points to the dog if:
-only one person draws the background,
-the entry includes more than 1 dog,
-all above applies to the non-teamwork classes.
Story collaborations are allowed and encouraged.
You can write a story with someone who is not in the show (for RP purposes), but the story will receive half the points as the person doesn't compete.
In the depiction should be marked who was writing for one or another character.
In the depiction of the background/setting should be marked who was writing for one or another character.
Literature entries follow the same rules as drawn entries.
Suppose a commissioned picture has been drawn with a few characters, including other people's characters. In that case, the author will get priority in judging their characters over other people's characters in the same picture. The reason is that the author put all their effort into a single piece. In this case, all the author's characters will be judged first among all the other characters. After that, the characters of the other owners in the picture are judged.
The "work" of other dogs/the dogs of the author in the picture is being evaluated, including the pose, the urge/drive/gameness/willingness to work/effort, the description of the dog's work throughout the story, etc.
1 dog on the entry
people who co-own 1 dog put the effort into drawing 1 dog
dog belongs to the people, who draw the entry,
the points will go to only one dog depicted in the picture,
you should post only 1 entry to avoid confusion from the admin side.
2+ dogs taking part in the same OR different classes owned by the same OR different people
1 dog drawn by 1 person
the owners draw each other's dogs,
we will judge by the dog's look which dog wins over,
if the effort is inseparably equal, the RNG will take its force, which will define a dog that will score more in the entry.
mixed effort separation
work all along the drawing is separated between the authors,
we will judge by the dog's look which dog wins over,
if the effort is inseparably equal, the RNG will take its force, which will define a dog that will score more in the entry.
author rule
commissioned-only entry,
1 author draws the whole entry, including their character and the characters of the commissioned people,
characters of the author are judged before the other entrants,
other entrants' characters are judged by the work, looks, pose choices, etc,
in the case that all the characters look equal, the RNG is used.
an entry for 2+ dogs
collab for any classes that by default require 2+ dogs, such as a Brace, Progeny, Breeders stake, and for the sports activities which may require teamwork
in the case of the sports activity when it's a teamwork title (e.g. sled dog teamwork, carting dog teamwork):
the dogs will get an equal place and title,
each artist should submit the entry with information about their dog.
in the case of a sport activity, when it's a single title (e.g. big game hunter):
the dogs in the entry will be given places according to the dog's work and looks depiction.
