Introduction

Welcome to the Ukrainian Kennel Union(UaKU) – the group that is being represented by the real institution of the Ukrainian Kennel Union (uku.com.ua/english/).

This is the only group that encourages the participants to use an “open-art option” for any kind of activity with Your virtual pet.

What does it mean?

You want to show your dog but you’re not a person, who practices drawing but, for example, can make a great composition from clues or make a 3D model in Blender? It’s free in our group but you have to show the photo as proof that has to be according to such requirements as the colour and background, look of a realistic dog only etc. 

You can post here not only digital art pieces but traditional variants of your art and hand-made works, using your camera/special programs which allow creating 3D models! It doesn’t mean that you will be able to post photos of your real pets, clothes, people, etc. You will be able to post here your work that includes your virtual pet that could be created by your hand: from the clues, paper, wood, etc.

Our group rules are simple

• Follow all the rules with no exclusions. 

• Don't use/submit overtly strong words/content 18+ (unless it's marked as mature content). For example, if you need a realistic picture of breeding, you need to add a warning (mature content) - remember that some people may not like it.

• If you want to criticise someone's picture, justify your opinion, explain it, and only do so if the owner of the picture allows you to do so. 

• Don't post offensive content. Don't create drama - be tolerant of all members. Try to be friends with everyone - it's very important. Be respectful, respect each other's space, and be helpful and friendly. 

• Do not spam with inappropriate information about group members/flood DMs/denigrate/blackmail the group and its participants. If you have some personal drama, please make sure not to involve other people and try to solve it peacefully. Life is too short to argue.  

• Don't post human OC that doesn't belong to the group, if it isn't a handler/owner/cynologist etc. Theat must be described in their info.

• This is a kennel club, so only purebred dogs will be accepted. The mixed breeds and mongrels can take part in the performance/costume sections of the shows and cannot belong to the folders with purebred dogs.

• Only realistic dogs, so no wings, horns, etc. 

• All dogs' passing events must be aged according to titles. 

• Dog information can't be altered(gender, breed, colour, etc) unless you want to start all over.

• We don't encourage furries and anthros but we won’t penalise them as long as the handlers are bipedal and humanized. 

• May be allowed slight mutations like longer canines or huge ears as a newly created breed feature. 

• All created breeds must follow realistic criteria. You can check brief requirements here: Scroll to see

• Since our group is only in development, some of the options are unavailable as do not have proper descriptions.

• To make your pictures approved just submit them to the correct folders. 

• Treat your dog as if it's real: we wouldn't like to see bad treatment, abuse, breeding two dogs with the same gender, etc. This will result in a warning and eventually a ban.

• We have our own point system with our own titles, please, note it. Note also, that we have a special calculation procedure of the dog's experience.

• UaKU only permits affiliates to use our CACIB/Ts for their Championships and vice versa. This is a trust-based mutual system with the groups we affiliate with. Read more here: Affiliates 

• #standwithukraine Our Cynological Union would love to make a show in every country. But this won't include russia. We have no respect for this country and it will not be included in the show and event list. Due to the current circumstances and in the future, the group will hold no activities in russia, this country won't be taken into consideration at all. Neither russia-supporting activities will be tolerated by the group and will eventually cause a warning and then a ban. We are not going to cope with people, who support the terrorist state.
