This is a program specifically for written works within the DARPG group, @UaKU. This program covers everything from titles, certifications, health tests, monthly prompts, CACIB/CACITs, Champion, and Grand Champion. This particular program was put together by @RebelleValor. The word counts are set by what would be minimalistic and what would be effort with the phrase "a picture is worth a 1000 words" in mind. As an experienced literature writer, this is based on what is felt to be minimal and effort.
All literature written MUST be of your own work. AI and GPT are not allowed or welcomed here. This is seen as the literature version of "tracing" and is not allowed in UaKU. Any written works suspected of this will not be welcome into the group and will be disqualified from events.
Written works MUST pertain to the task at hand. If you are writing about your dog participating in a CACIB event, you must write about that and nothing else in the story. You can use elements surrounding the event such as grooming prep work or judge interactions as long as it is done on the show grounds.
"Background" elements will be judged by how the setting is described in the story. The more description, the better the score and accuracy. For sponsor flags and bonuses, describe the flags and their locations for those bonuses to count.
Plagiarism is illegal and not allowed ever. If found entries will be disqualified and works will be removed from the group.
Collaborations are only allowed wherever collaborations are authorized. The work between collaborating parties must be somewhat equal in word count with each response paragraphed separately.
Please pay attention to show rules in regards to literature. Some shows may allow you to write all of your participating dogs in a single story while some may require each story to be for a single dog. This will be at the host's discretion.
This literature program was created and written by @RebelleValor. Groups outside of those she owns or moderates must have explicit permission from her in order to use this program.
Rules and information may change at any time to fit the group.
Another person cannot write you a story for your entry unless you wrote it together as a role play and both of you take part in the show.
Your stories do not have to be written with the depicted part of the drawing or just the show-ring activity. You can include as many actions and details in the story as you like, describing any show/after-show activity, or negative/positive experience, as long as it's interesting and fits the theme of the show.
You can write a story with someone who is not on the show (for RP purposes), but the story will receive half of the points as it is still a collaboration and another person is not on the show.
Titles - 200wc
Anything that requires minimal effort such as titles must be 200wc minimum.
This is per title and not per set.
For example, in IPO titles:
IPOI - 200wc
IPOII - 200wc
IPOIII - 200 wc
For a total of 600wc for the entire set. Larger sets will have a larger minimum, such as Agility titles.
Certifications, Health Tests, and Monthly Prompts - 600-800wc
Anything that requires more effort than a standard title such as certifications, health tests, and monthly group prompts will require 600wc up to 800wc minimum.
Examples of certifications may be "Certified Ranch Dog" or "Certified Good Citizen". Each prompt for those certificates will require 600-800wc since they require more effort than a normal title. Health Tests and Monthly Group Prompts also fall into this category.
CACIB/CACIT (LCACIB/LCACIT) - 1000wc
Anything requiring the maximum effort, such as CACIBs and CACITs will have a 1000wc minimum. Anything over the wc minimum will count toward the "story bonus" that some shows offer as bonus points. CACIBs and CACITs earned through literature are usually called LCACIB and LCACIT, with the L referring to it being earned through literature. These CACIBs and CACITs may still act as normal CACIBs and CACITs and may be used to earn Champion and Grand Champion titles.
