The Paracanis Program is aimed at helping the dogs with physical or mental problems. We were referencing these two resources to help find out more information on how to help our little friends: 1 & 2
Understanding, positive reinforcement, gentleness, soothing voice, and patience are essential as you try to help your pet overcome the triggers. Of course, you should not forget about treats, toys, and sincere appreciation. This program is not about the title gathering; it's about rehab and patience.
The program is separated into "Physical" and "Mental" rehab exercises.
Physical. Methods and Exercises: you can choose the ones suitable for your dog according to what the trauma requires.
Mental: you may choose the ones that will help your dog to get rid of the triggers.
If the dog only has Physical problems, you may avoid going through Mental rehab. And vice versa.
1 headshot per set, e.g. "Place changing. Level 1" - only 1 headshot. The new level will allow another headshot.
Art can be in black and white, or a sketch as long as the image is well rendered and the shapes, dog colour and set, etc are easily defined. Literature is welcome as well.
If you've already decided what triggers you want to free your dog from, please don't show immediate success and perfect behaviour. The dog simply needs to look relaxed and interested, not perfectly obedient.
You are welcome to show your dog misbehaving, but only pictures showing "success" will count for a pass.
