During the trip to Brussels, the class will analyze how institutional buildings such as the new headquarters of the NATO, the House of European History and the European Quarter in general seek to embody and spread the norms and the values on which the NATO and the EU are founded. Following the course trip, students will be asked to prepare a 1500-word-paper on “A Conversation on Art and Politics in Brussels.”
