The VIP System lineup was updated for the 2000 model year:
KE was superseded by a stripped down RS3200, V2 was introduced for vehicles with TDS, V4 was reassigned to the new remote engine starter accessory, and V5 was superseded by the RS3200 Plus. V3 was superseded by the RS3200 in most applications, certain models still retained the older RS3000.
First generation Tundra:
KE - Keyless Entry (RS3000 with security disabled)
V3 - VIP RS3000 Remote Keyless Security System
V5 - VIP RS3000 Plus (upgrade for KE, adds status monitor and GBS and enables security)
The VIP System was revised for the 2009 or 2010 model year:
KE and V3 were discontinued. Vehicles without factory keyless entry were forced to go aftermarket.
