Implementing a new LT, organizations are asking for many to be educated but it takes time for the learning process which will likely be on-going. For learning to become meaningful and part of continuous learning, reflection should be a part of the process (Merrill, 2009; Castelli, 2015). Taking time for feedback, discussion and reflection provides leaders with information that will allow them to learn from past projects and improve for future projects (Watt, 2014, p. 167).
Thus, if there appears to be continued obstacles after the reflection process, a SWOT analysis of the current state of implementation may be appropriate. This process may highlight areas of concern and potentially offer solutions to move forward with the plan.
