The implementation of a LT requires a team of leaders that have a shared vision to ensure everyone is on the same page. Identifying the leaders, their roles and responsibilities early in the planning stages will create a sense of accountability with the project tasks (Watt, 2014). It is important that the chosen leaders have the “ability to motivate and inspire individuals to work toward expected results” (Watt, 2014, p. 19). The shared vision of the leaders/organization will create a sense of inclusion on the project implementation.
Leaders should communicate with their teams at all levels on a regular basis. These connections ensure that the goals remain clear and obstacles are dealt with in a timely manner whilst keeping the implementation target.
