Sinopse  

O projeto que se apresenta juntou três estudantes do terceiro ano da Licenciatura em Artes Visuais e Tecnologias (AVT) da Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico de Lisboa (ESELx), que assim enquadrados desenvolveram o seu estágio curricular;  os estudantes de 8º ano, turmas 2ª e 4ª, da professora Joana Barros na Escola Secundária Fernão Mendes Pinto em Almada e a professora orientadora do estágio, Sandra Antunes da licenciatura em AVT/ ESELx.

O projeto proposto foi enquadrada no estudo dos modos de registo e da perceção dos elementos estruturais da linguagem plástica, integrando-se na continuidade do estudo do auto-retrato, que os estudantes vinham desenvolvendo na disciplina de Educação Visual com a professora Joana Barros.

Propôs-se o desenvolvimento de um projeto em arte têxtil, para a experimentação das possibilidades gráficas e plásticas de interrogação,dos conceitos de retrato, auto-retrato, movimento, ritmo e tempo. Os processos de trabalho desenvolvidos com os estudantes foram inclusivos, recorrendo-se a instrumentos e técnicas acessíveis a todos.

Finalmente o trabalho individual tornou-se parte de um grande mural coletivo, entretecido pelos estudantes, que veio a humanizar um dos espaços comuns da escola durante a Semana das Artes.

Synopsis/ Project Description 

This project brought together three third-year students from theVisual Arts and Technologys B.A. (AVT) from the Lisbon's Polytechnic University School of Education (ESELx), who in this way developed their curricular internship; the 8th grade students, 2nd and 4th classes, taught by teacher Joana Barros at the Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School in Almada and the professor who supervised the internship, Sandra Antunes from the AVT/ ESELx B.A.

The proposed project formed part of the study of the structural elements of plastic language, in continuity of the study of self-portraiture, which the students had been developing in Visual Education with their teacher Joana Barros.

The idea was to develop a textile art project to experiment with the possibilities of interrogating the concepts of portrait, self-portrait, movement, rhythm and time. The work processes developed with the students were inclusive, using tools and techniques accessible to all.

Finally, the individual work became part of a large collective mural, woven by the students, which humanized one of the school's common spaces during the Arts Week.
