Sinopse  

Concebido em estreito diálogo com a professora Teresa Esteves, o projeto que se apresenta reuniu dois estudantes do terceiro ano da Licenciatura em Artes Visuais e Tecnologias (AVT) da Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico de Lisboa (ESELx), no âmbito do seu estágio curricular; os estudantes do 11º ano, turma 7ª, do Curso Cienstífico-Humaístico de Artes visuais da Escola Secundária Fernão Mendes Pinto - Almada, na disciplina de Desenho A; a professora Teresa Esteves, tituar da turma e a professora orientadora do estágio Sandra Antunes. 

Observando a relação entre os objetos e as memórias, os estudantes foram convidados a refletir sobre o facto de as coisas que nos rodeiam não serem constituídas unicamente de matéria, carregando em si narrativas repletas de memórias, afetos, entre outros... 

Num segundo momento,  os estudantes procuraram captar a essência da memória, comunicando as emoções e sensações por ela evocadas, para a criação de paisagens abstratas, Paisagens da Memória 

Finalmente, ampliando o âmbito, o sentido e o sentir de cada uma das Paisagens da Memória individualmente traçadas, os estudantes procederam à criação de um Memorial Coletivo, desenvolvido ao longo de cinco workshops conjuntos.

Synopsis/ Project Description 

Conceived in close dialogue with professor Teresa Esteves, the project presented here brought together two third-year students from the Visual Arts and Technologys B.A. (AVT) at the Lisbon's Polytechnic University School of Education (ESELx), as part of their curricular internship; 11th grade students, class 7, from the Visual Arts Scientific-Humanistic Course at the Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School - Almada, in the subject of Drawing A; professor Teresa Esteves, class teacher, and the professor who supervised the internship, Sandra Antunes. 

Observing the relationship between objects and memories, the students were invited to reflect on the fact that the things that surround us are not just made of matter, carrying within them narratives, full memories, affections, among others...

Secondly, the students tried to capture the essence of memory, communicating the emotions and sensations it evokes, in order to create abstract landscapes, Landscapes of Memory

Finally, broadening the scope, meaning and feeling of each of the individually drawn Memory Landscapes, the students proceeded to create a Collective Memorial, developed over the course of five joint workshops.
