Job Training Evaluations

Students soft skills, sometimes called employability skills, are assessed monthly to determine areas of strength and need. These evaluations provide valuable data that allows vocational staff to better support students' individual needs through goal setting, direct instruction, and, if needed, modification of tasks. 

Rubric:

   4 – Very Good - exceeds most expectations

      3 – Good - meets expectations

      2 – Fair - meets most expectations

      1 – Poor - does not meet expectations



Time Management:

1. Stays on task with 2 or fewer prompts

2. Begins to work within 1 or fewer prompts

3.  Works at a pace commensurate to ability

Motivation:

4. When able, independently goes to the work area

5. When able, independently gets materials to do the job

6. Asks job coach for other jobs when assigned tasks

    are complete 

7. When able, puts materials away w/in 2 requests

Teamwork:

8. Interacts appropriately with co-workers

9. Offers to help other employees as needed

Accepting Feedback/Applying Lessons Learned:

10. Accepts criticism or help with minimal complaint

11. Applies new techniques after demonstrated

12. Corrects mistakes without complaining

Communication:

13. Asks for help as needed in 2 out of 3 opportunities

14. Greets co-workers in a professional manner

15. Discusses appropriate topics

Flexibility:

16. Attempts new tasks w/in 2 or fewer requests

17. Accepts change

Personal Appearance:

18. Good grooming and hygiene habits

19. Dressed clean and neat

20. Wears necessary health/safety equipment

Responsible:

21.  Attends job training each day

22. Does not disrupt business or customers

23. Follows directions within 2 prompts

24. Treats business property with respect

25. Checks the quality of work w/job coach
