The OSDA's W-9 Form is provided here as needed for School District Treasurers.
2023-2024 OSDA Membership Registration
Log in to or create your SpeechWire account to register.
All administratively approved coaches should be listed in the team's OSDA registration.
That information is used to confirm the "Coach in Charge" at tournaments.
An approved coach must be the individual to register in SpeechWire for OSDA Membership.
Additionally, only coaches should have access to the team's SpeechWire account.
After completing the online membership registration form, you will generate an invoice for membership fees.
The cost is $125 per High School and $50 per Middle School, payable to "OSDA" by November 1, 2023.
Register your team by your first OSDA tournament or November 1, whichever comes first.
All membership fees are due by your first OSDA tournament or November 1, whichever comes first.
2023-2024 OSDA Fee Waiver Requests
If you are a new or struggling program, you are able to submit the form below to request a waiver of the annual OSDA Membership Fees. Application deadline is October 15, 2023.
Middle School Consolidated Program Requests

For schools enrolling students in grades 6, 7, and 8 (Middle Schools) the membership fee shall be $50. Students from more than one school may not compete on the same team unless approved by the OSDA in accordance with the following:
1. Schools enrolling grades 6, 7 and 8 may combine students from two or more schools within the same non-public or public school district to form a team.
2. Requests for permission to combine students from two or more schools in the same non-public or public school system must be submitted annually to the OSDA in writing by the superintendent, or administrative equivalent, of the non-public or public school system by November 1. This must include the name of the schools being consolidated, the name of the principal, name of the consolidated school and the complete address of the coach responsible for the combined team. Applicants may use this form to request consolidation from the OSDA.
3. The membership fee for a consolidated Middle School Member School shall be $50.
