This site is intended to share background information on the characters and setting for a historical fiction family saga. It is also intended as a ready reference resource on these aspects of the stories.

The Homeplace Saga story began with the novel Back to the Homeplace (1987) and continued nine years later with The Homeplace Revisited (1996). Christmas at the Homeplace continued the story through to the end of 1996. The Homeplace Forever finishes the stories through Feb 1999.

Two novellas fit in this 20th Century historical fiction family saga: Murder by the Homeplace follows the events of "Back to the Homeplace" in the fall of 1987, and Murder, He Figured.
