Scott Gates

This is Scott's home page.

In early 1987, Scott and his sister, Heather, moved to Oak Springs from Mississippi with their parents, Paul and Beverly (Bevins) Gates, along with Paul's daughter by a prior marriage, Sheila Gates.

In the fall of 1996, Scott was still only 18 years old, but was in his second year of Farm Operations at Ozarks Community College in Oak Springs. All through High School, Scott was the youngest in his class, but did fine. His girl friend, Peggy Nixon, was 19, in the same class, but one of the older ones. Scott had gotten an early start to school in Mississippi; Peggy was in her normal class grade for her age.
