Heather Gates

This is Heather's Home Page.

In early 1987, Heather and her brother, Scott, moved to Oak Springs from Mississippi with their parents, Paul and Beverly (Bevins) Gates, along with Paul's daughter by a prior marriage, Sheila Gates.

In 1996, Heather is a Sophomore at Oak Springs High School, working part-time at the Mill with her father, but spending more and more time at the Bevins Stable and Trail Rides where it is becoming clear her heart is... here is an excerpt from "The Homeplace Revisited" that shares a key moment for her, from Thursday, August 22, 1996.
