A cursorial herbivore the Squeezebra is the most dominant herbivore in the grasslands.
The Squeezebra are large Cephalops found across the grasslands and is adapted for life in the open.
Coming from ancestors that lived in the Northern Forest Squeezebra are among the most derived Tentacle Eyed Terra Squid with many small ridges and sharp incisor-like ends to their internal beaks that act like a pair of hadrosaur-like jaws grinding the tough grass between them making it easier to digest and giving them an edge over other herbivores.
The Squeezebra are well adapted for a cursorial life a cartilaginous callous has formed around their feet forming a hoof-like structure to protect their feet when walking over long distances and running from predators. Squeezebra's are extremely effective at running for long distances as their two brachial hearts pump extra blood to their lungs and their copper-based blood gives them, a study supply of oxygen
Squeezebra live in large herds wandering the Grasslands in search of fresh grazing where they are constantly followed by packs of Scissor Mouths and Twizzletooths although a healthy adult is far too much of a challenge and even calves can run with there mothers within an hour after birth.
The Squeezebra population has exploded in the last 5 million years with numbers of over 5 million stretching to each end of the grasslands and into the Tundra to the north.
