Kraken Cats

Kraken cats (Tetrateuthids) are a family of quadruped predatory Neck Snares native to the coastal forests.

They represent a midway point in Neck Snare biology being larger than The Linlolligo and its kin but much lighter built than their closest relative the Saber Squid and thus hunt smaller Cephalopes and tall but lightly built Strideraptors.

Their fast ambush predators use their last limb pair held off the ground to anchor themselves to prey and kill it with a bite to the throat or head with their powerful beaks and large hooked claws on the end of their almost nonexistent mouth tentacles.

We’ve already seen the Kracougar of the east coast forest it is the one that has dispersed the most from the southern forests where they first evolved and where the rest of the group still lives.
