As a true OakClan cat, you must learn your territory like the back of your paw.
A massive oak tree makes up a good portion of the OakClan camp, as well as smaller trees and an old fallen log.
The oak, referred to by the Clan cats as the Mother Oak, is a looming thing with massive, twisting branches that slope low to the ground or reach high into the sky.
It is not uncommon for warriors to make their nests among the branches during the warmer months, high up in the sky where they can keep the breeze through the branches of the entire forest.
A large branch leans out from the leader's den and is referred to as the High Branch, from which the leader will give their meetings.
Dens are located primarily in, on, or around the tree.
The nursery is protected beneath the Mother Oak roots, while the surrounding bushes make up the apprentice's, warrior's, and medicine den.
The elder's den is located within a large log within the camp, with lichen over the entrance to keep it protected against elements.
The leader's den is located within the Mother Oak itself, in a decent-sized hollow shielded by moss and lichen.
A spare den is beneath a bush at the back of camp. It previously held a prisoner...
An ovular, flat break in the trees gives way to a clearing, of which apprentices and warriors of OakClan come to hone their skills and practice their special way of fighting amongst the trees.
It is padded with soft grass and pine needles to give the earth an extra cushion, though it may not help much if an inexperienced cat were to fall out of a tree during training.
A particularly dense thicket of trees located on the OakClan territory. It is a private, mossy location where a large oak tree spreads its branches far over a small clearing.
It is said that long ago, a tom named Sunheart planted acorns in the ground after devastating fire which eventually grew into the thicket there today.
There is a massive, looming tree there referred to as the Father Oak.
A large, frozen swamp located near the OakClan camp. It used to be a place where croaking was present year round, but it has been absent for some time since the snow rolled in.
It used to be a good place for hunting. While some animals may still make their homes, the frozen water and dead plants provide little sustenance for prey.
At least it's no longer as dangerous as it once was. The lack of prey means lack of predators.
A dark, damp cave complex in the back of the territory.
Old legends tell of a pawful of apprentices setting out one day to explore the cave and never returned. They left no trace, and their pawmarks disappeared shortly after entering the cave.
It is said that if a cat were to listen closely enough, they can hear the whispers of the lost apprentices begging to be rescued from deep within.
This once belonged to MeadowClan before the extermination. During the day, it is a quiet and pleasant location where bees bumble along. Lovers may come to this meadow to admire the view together, or hunters use it as an exceptional place to hunt small rodents and rabbits.
When the sky is clear and the moon is high, it is said that the flowers in this field are known to glow. Once upon a time, the feeling here was mystical and almost magical. However, OakClan cats have reported seeing the shapes of fallen MeadowClan cats roaming, or catching MeadowClan scent. This gives the Meadow an unnerving energy.
A large tree-protected hollow padded with mossy earth, this was once apart of MeadowClan territory and served as part of the OakClan-MeadowClan border. The moss absorbs sound and makes the area eerily quiet at all times, but especially at night.
This was once a location dedicated to training apprentices, and while that may occasionally be the case, this has more so become another hunting ground for OakClan. It is said that the ghostly laughter of MeadowClan apprentices .can be heard sometimes, echoing through the hollow.
