5 signings Ralf Rangnick could make

Ralf Rangnick is joining Man Utd as an intern until the summer and moving to a consulting role. This article will look at four players that the Godfather of gegenpressing could bring into the red devils.

Player 1

Konrad Laimer

United need a top-class CM/CDM, and Laimer would be the perfect signing for Rangnick, who needs a presser in midfield and a replacement for Nemanja Matic. The Austrian would fit the United team like a glove and wouldn't cost too much money in January.

Player 2

Florain Neuhaus

Paul Pogba will indeed be gone from Man Utd in the summer, and the club will look for a replacement. Step forward Florian Neuhaus, who is 24 and plays for Gladbach currently. Rangnicks German football knowledge could play a role in getting Neuhaus to United.

Player 3

Noussair Mazraoui

With debates over the quality of right-backs at the club, a transfer for young Ajax right back Mazraoui could be a clever bit of a business for the club. The Moroccan is a modern-day right-back who can both defend and get up the pitch and attack.

Player 4

Karim Adeyemi

The next great talent to come out of RB Salzburg is young German striker Karim Adeyemi who has been tearing it up in the Austrian league. He has been linked with all Europe's elite and will most likely leave Salzburg in the summer. With Edinson going and Ronaldo not able to play every game in the season, I think this would be a common-sense move for United.

Player 5

Amadou Haidara

A player reported by media and someone who has a release clause of 33M is another RB Leipzig player Amadou Haidara. The reports are that Rangnick is interested in bringing him into the club. Haidara is another CDM which is a common theme in the transfer rumour mill.

Whoever he signs will be of top quality, with him involved with signing players such as Roberto Firmino and Erlang Haaland. If those signings are anything to go by, our next few signings will be of elite quality.
