If you’re an avid reader, the following are some trustworthy websites for your reading pleasure, some of which have videos and streaming material of their own. I suggest picking a few to periodically check up on for your news, or if you don’t care about your sanity, visit all of them on a daily basis.
Please be advised that although I myself am bias - it’s important to note that the change in my political beliefs didn't happen over night, it took years. When it comes to the types of information you consume, its important that you find outlets that tell the truth, that focus on the who, what, where, when, why, and how as best as they can. The truth can have layers and is not always so simple, that's why I feel it is important to consume the material I have linked throughout this website. In regards to the United States, it's crucial that you don't resort to blaming and favoring one capitalist party over the other; nothing will get better by continuing to do that. I will warn you however, that some of content here, as it follows the facts - doesn't hold any punches, it may even upset you but that's good, being angry is apart of the learning process. And finally, as much as I want everyone to be on the same page, it unfortunately takes time for people to unlearn what they've been told to believe.
Why are corporate media untrustworthy? ◘ The Role of Media in Capitalist Systems ◘ Polls show that almost no one trusts US media after decades of war propaganda and lies ◘ How The Media Controls The Masses ◘ It's a Mediaopoly ◘ The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act and the Weaponization of Information: How U.S. Propaganda Was Turned Inward
Those who call themselves journalists while supporting and defending the evils of capitalism, empire, and the corrupt power structure are not journalists. They're propagandists. All bourgeois sources/supporters of capitalism and the corrupt power structure lie, whether they know it or not. Lies take no effort to find, but finding the truth and developing one's critical media literacy, that takes time and dedication.

There are a couple of things that I disagree with amongst pretty much all of these outlets, even so, all of them are vastly superior to what you get from corporate mainstream media.
Although the books are shown below are free, you may have to spend some money on software if you want them to be read out loud to you. The following are some websites I found that will go over your options. However, whenever downloading any form of software, be sure you have solid protection on your computer before running any new application and also do the advanced set-ups to make sure unnecessary junk isn’t downloaded as well.
