About the Art:

"My work explores what I refer to as liminal spaces: transitions between memory and the physical world. After my grandmother’s death, returning to her home made me aware of how memories can transform familiar spaces, creating an overlap between the tangible and intangible. I explore this relationship through drawing, sculpture, and new media, often using digital fabrication as a process that moves between physical and digital forms".

"For this piece, I explore the idea of a home within a home by creating a cut-paper wallpaper pattern and projecting video of a spider constructing its web onto it. The spider becomes a natural maker working within an artificial, man-made space. Although the web itself is not visible, the spider’s movements suggest its creation, emphasizing absence and presence. By combining observable patterns found in nature with constructed patterns, the work considers how space shapes what we see while also holding memories and experiences that remain unseen".
