Getting started

Carpathian Morok is a closed ARPG species created by @Molfar-Spirit, @vikula11 and @lightningfox. Closed means you cannot make your character without our approval. ARPG stands for art role-playing game, meaning you advance through the game via art and literature. Make sure to check General Rules

The Morok is a carnivorous reptile-like canine, that originated from the Ukrainian Carpathians It has snake-like attributes and heat pits in its nostrils to help it pinpoint its prey's location. 

Prystrit is an undead Morok. Highly dangerous and evil of heart.

How do I obtain a Morok? 

You can get your first cub in the Adoption Centre for free.

Other options are to order a custom design, buy an existing one, or breed one. In exceptional cases, you can win an import at events.

The Spirits (admin) create the import image of your Morok. The import image contains basic information about your Morok and your trackers. The import provided already has some predefined characteristics such as colour, sex, features, etc. The data cannot be altered unless you have special tokens. 

The tracker comments are for the player to reply to with the Morok's art to keep everything organised and in one place.

You can start with an adult Morok, but you can also start with an egg. We do not forbid having an already adult animal and draw it as a pup during Rite of Passage.

Rites

Rite is an activity that allows you to do something special within this activity. It unlocks some possibilities. Some rites are mandatory, like the Rite of Passage, while others are voluntary and you can take part for fun or experience. 

Hunting

The activities where you can go hunting for special prey. They are divided into levels by difficult. Different prey bring different rewards.

Fishing

The same principle as hunting, only your Morok is catching fish.

Quests

Everyone likes a quest, no? Here your Morok is given a specific task they have to accomplish.

Challenges

Show your skill and prowess in a fight. You can challenge other players or selected bosses

Events

Events are organized by the group. They are only run for a certain amount of time but are a great deal of fun

Shows

If your Morok has a handler, they can compete in shows together. There are various disciplines, just as in horse or dog shows

Storylines

Similar to quests, only there is an overarching story

Crafting

You can use the items you collected in other activities to craft better, more potent items

Breeding

By breeding two Moroks together, you can create a new litter of pups. Exciting, right?

Creating packs

Moroks are social creatures. Creating packs is of great importance to them. You can join an existing pack or create your own

And you can of course only have fun with one your Morok in any way you like, without participating in group activities

Point system

By creating art and participating in the group, you earn points in the form of xp. 

Ranks

When you accumulate a certain amount of xp, you level up in the ranking system. The higher the rank, the better the benefits. Also, fame and glory! 

Items

By participating in the group, you earn items. They have different levels of rarity and importance. There are raw items you can use for crafting, crafted items, and special items

Bank

All your items and gems, our in-game currency, are stored safely in the bank
