The Morok packs may either "work" together or lead a constant war. It may happen for whatever reason, depending on both packs. But sometimes such packs may be joined together for some time or forever.
Like dogs, Moroks have 6 nipples for weaning their young, but for centuries a maximum of 3 pups were born, so after so many years of evolution, Morokas have only 2 working nipples. If a female in the pack has given birth to 3 puppies and only has 2 nipples of the "Moroka udder", she and the pack may be able to "call for help", even from an enemy pack. As one of the main issues for Morok is still breeding for the survival of the Morok species, packs can base this merger on the inter-pack "contract" of the truce. Two packs unite to feed this third pup.
In this case, a whole procession comes to the receiving pack. They bring lots of "shiny things" and lots of prey, bowing their heads to the adoptive pack.
The "contract" remains in place until some pack member "spoils" it by being chased or fought with. Sometimes males may cause a minor "mutiny" and kill the male pup, just as lions do, get rid of the opponent.
According to deforestation and humans causing major problems to nature as it was mentioned above, Morok packs may try living together. Famine would drive Moroks to try to survive together as well.
Sometimes the local packs gather together and "decide" how they cooperate. If some packs don't agree to work together, they will likely be chased away or hunted later. Maybe even eaten.
In the case when the packs did decide to gather their powers for survival and common hunting, every member without specification on the game, must bring all hunted to the "common lair". In the case when a member, who decides to leave all the hunted by his own prey for himself, will be punished - most likely with famine.
According to the generally accepted Morok 'etiquette', the loss of one pack is the loss of all packs. No matter how big and terrible the fights between the packs are, if the opposing pack loses a member, the other pack will come to mourn. The pack bears the loss and lets out a mournful howl to alert the other packs.
During the "funeral" of an adult member, the packs will growl in unison.
When a cub is buried, both packs give a mournful, soul-crushing "howl".
The arriving pack offers its tribute, whether it's "the last meal" or something else. The pack of the deceased will carry his body on their backs to the meeting place. If a member of the pack can make a fire, the body is solemnly burned. If not, the body is taken to the highest mountain in a distant cave that humans can't reach.
This pretty much explains why no Morok skeletons have been found.
Sometimes happens, a member of the pack goes missing and there is no trace of them for a long time. They might be considered the ones, who "crossed the rainbow bridge". And once the body is found, Moroks hold the "Rite of Forgotten".
Should be said, that in case the body of "an enemy" is found, how wouldn't be nasty this Morok was, Moroks would anyway hold this special ritual for it.
Why? Because a creepy part is coming later. See the Morok vs Prystrit article.
