Fish has a proper place in Morok's diet. When meat is scarce, fish becomes the second most important source of food.
Certain fish might be too difficult to catch for your Morok if it's underage. To be able to fish medium and large fish, Morok has to pass the Rite of Passage.
During the fishing, you may choose either to be rolled for "difficulty" or "location". Your choice allows admins to roll a particular fish for your Morok to get. If you choose to go for difficulty, you get only rolled from the difficulty category. Like if you say easy, you will only be rolled easy fish. If you choose a location, then you get rolled fish from that location. Each has 5 different fishes in it with various levels of difficulty, so you might end up with one you aren't ready for.
1. choose a Location OR a Difficulty level for the fish
2. in the Roll channel of Discord, roll 1d2 for difficulty or 1d3 for location. The number corresponds to the prey you will be fishing (check the How To Roll guide for more instructions)
3. depict your Morok going fishing for the selected prey
4. submit the image to the "Fishing" folder, In the submission form in Discord include:
Link to Morok´s reference with tracker:
Roll type (Fishing):
State which roll it is: Difficulty/Location
Apply the Rite of Passage:
List bonuses affecting success rate (rider, items used, training rank...)
5. roll for success and rewards according to the roll guide
6. success rate and rewards depend on rarity and other criteria listed below
A fish consists at least of 2 images: the search part, and taking down the fish.
Search: depict your Morok searching for the fish. Going for fishing, jumping in the water, catching the fish in the water, etc...
Depict your Morok dealing with the fish in any way. Sneaking on it, attacking... The fish must be clearly visible in the picture
If you chose the Location, it must be clearly recognizable in your background
In the art description, include:
link to Morok´s reference or tracker
state this is a fishing picture and which part (search or fish)*
chosen difficulty or location
*in fish part include the link to the finished Search part
Your fish can be successful or failed. But what does it depend on? Most importantly, how well you meet the physical trait requirements. See the difficulty levels below for specifics
Easy fish have no criteria
chance of success is 75%
Medium fish have 3 stars for 1 trait
If your Morok doesn´t meet the requirement, chance of success is 30%
If your Morok meets the requirement, chance of success is 75%
With each star above the requirement, chance of success grows by 5%
Difficult fish have 5 stars for 1 specific trait and 1 other trait
If your Morok does not meet these criteria, chance of success is 10%
If your Morok meets only 1 requirement, chance of success is 50%
If your Morok meets both requirements, chance of success is 75%
With each star above the requirement, chance of success grows by 5%
Pack fishing or fishing with certain roles in the pack will add up the success rate to the above.
Option 1. Your Morok goes for a fish with alpha/elder/fisher/handler and get +5% success
Option 2. Your Morok goes for a fish with slave/healer/caretaker and get +2% success
Option 3. Your Morok goes for a fish with the whole pack +6%
Option 4. Going for fishing with the handler. Depending on the abilities of the human, it will give the fishing success. Check for the success percentage here: Shkola
>crafting materials would require a drawing of the gathering process.
>getting craftable or artificial healing items doesn't require drawing.
Option 5. Going for a fish with both the pack and the handler. Depending on the abilities of the human, it will give the healing success. Check for the success percentage here: Shkola
