[USRF] United States Reclamation Force
Status: LEANING-POSITIVE
Subsequent to the USRF’s arrival in the islands during the 2150s, a tempest started developing in the air. There were strong disparities between the two factions over the handling of technology within the wasteland, which consequently culminated in a brief time of border conflict between the two factions. Hostilities subsided after the USRF’s departure from the islands to deal with outside conflict before the end of that decade. After their return, the Alumni had remained watchful, but just recently the Alumni & USRF have had civilized interactions and decided to improve relations. Both the Alumni & USRF have agreed to stay on neutral ground, establish embassies and a radio deconflication line incase for emergencies.
[V] Voyageurs
Status: CAUTIOUS
Having made recent strides in relations with the voyagers in regards to their steady trading partner status, the two groups as of late have grown quite bitter towards one another after a recent trade between the two groups went sour, resulting in an abrupt end to their trading partner status and seemingly cutting all ties with the voyagers…

[TC] The Coalition
Status: AMICABLE
In the beginning, relations were negative after the Governor of Bargetown attempted to blackmail the President during their first meeting. This led to the President’s decision in exposing the governor’s corruption to the public and consequently they were barred from the settlement. Conflicts sporadically arose between the two for some time until recent diplomatic efforts. As of late their relations arose to an Amicable state having secured the coalition as an official trade partner with the Alumni.
[SPS] Southpoint State
Status: ANIMOSITY
Following a recent Sanctum raid carried out by the State during a regional summit of the Isle's powers Sanctum resulting in the deaths and capture of many Alumnites along with their subsequent forceful conversion utilizing their compound drugs, Southpoint has been recognized as an active threat once gain, with their violent raid having opening up the the scabs of their previous enmity. Arch-Basileus Orpheus has recently declared war on Southpoint, and many believe that the Alumni will not stand idly by in the face of the mutant militia's threat against humanity.

[NMA] The New Model Army
Status: NEUTRAL
Being a naval infantry unit hailing from the Midwestern Union, the New Model Army seeks to swallow up the Great Lake's Coalition through an invasion of the isles. While run-ins with the army have been brief if not at all present, recently the NMA came to the Alumni with a proposition involving their movement of supplies through the campus, which was presumed to be related to their antagonization of the Coalition. The Alumni decided —after the Coalition stood by and raided the pantry of their cafeteria during the failed summit, to ultimately allow them passage. The ramifications of such a diplomatic conclusion have yet to be realized.

[PKC] Princess Kathleen's Commandos
Status: NEUTRAL
With the majority of the PKC's fighting happening in unoccupied northern territories against the Alumni's neighboring powers, the Alumni has sparsely seen the Canadian paratrooper fighting force and does not particularly care for involving themselves in the boiled-over conflict between the Canadians and Northeastern Union.

[U] Unimata
Status: LEANING-POSITIVE
Though our relations were rocky and leaning negative after an unexpected and botched run-in with the Unimata, things appear to have improved between the groups.
As of late both factions have been making an effort to get along and hopefully become long-term partners.

[AW] Alma's Way
Status: LEANING-POSITIVE
The Alumni and ALMA's way have prodded each other with small delegations of collaboration since the cults arrival on the Isles. A church has been constructed within Sanctum, a non-aggression pact has been signed between both entities, and minor trade relations have been conducted.
As it currently stands, the affluent amity between the two factions seems to be stifled. Many cohorts of the Alumni seem to treat the group with great suspicion -- however the value of possessing an interesting topic of research for the Valedictorian chaplain body has been decided as worthwhile, and continuation mild collaboration would be prudent.
[SP] Shiloh Posse
Status: NEUTRAL
Contact with the caravan of disparaged southerners has been limited between the Alumni and the Posse, although behind closed doors, more amicable relations were set-up between the Posse and the Alumni in their attempt to pass through Sanctum's gates, traversing Northwards. After a short interrogation and identification of the entity, the Alumni determines the Posse a useful asset.
As it stands, a shady agreement exists between the Posse and the Alumni that allows for the lucrative exchange of technologies for the Alumni, in disregard of how it was obtained. Although, this information isn't readily available to the public...

[A] Architects
Status: NEUTRAL
Contact with the Architects as one of the Isle's many enclaves has been limited. The Alumni have not interacted with this group.
[CS] Chrome Skulls
Status: LEANING-POSITIVE
Contact with the Chrome Skulls as one of the Isle's many enclaves has been limited. The Alumni have not interacted with this group.

[MM] Many Men
Status: CAUTIOUS
The Alumni and Many Men are not on the best of terms, having started out with a disagreement between an Alumni-patrol and Dirtysprings. This small disagreement led to the abrupt decision to go to war against the small grotto.
This conflict concluded with the collapse of Dirtysprings and it's subsequent disbanding. Relations between the Alumni and Many Men remain at odds.
An Alumni Outsider, prior to joining.
Outsiders
Status: LEANING-NEGATIVE
Those who were not induced into the Alumni-born predominance, but rather found themselves inducted into the faction through their own fruition, rather it be through independent achievements or otherwise. The Alumni politically and ideologically is a tide of change, a dogfight between the preservation of what foundationally constructed us, and what will advance us into the sought future.
The former are likely to align with elitism, the supposed superiority of those born as Alumni. Being the predominant ruling coterie of the Alumni until Lucious, many of their policies still exist that makes Outsider life difficult. However, change is expected, as Lucious brought forth a new future for the Alumni —until his assassination.
Wastelanders
Status: NEUTRAL
The Alumni are fundamentally humanitarian as it stands in their role as a scientific group, although the harsh realities of the wasteland often make the faction reluctant to interact with the wastelander body as a whole. The faction for the most part tries to keep distance when possible, with some elitist members viewing wastelanders in a negative light.

Mutants
Status: NEUTRAL
Mutants are often viewed similarly to wastelanders, although there exists additional connotations as agreed upon by the Alumni -- a sense of pity is awarded to the mutants, in which their development as a subspecies is viewed as a terrible condition brought upon by the wasteland. As an act of "humanitarianism", the Alumni often researches these groups to... mixed results.
Although the Alumni doesn't necessarily despise mutants, their unethical experimentation conducted on mutants in the past has left the relationship between the mutant community and the Alumni shaken, however the Alumni do allow mutants to reside within Sanctum, often facing less direct discrimination than within settlements such as Bargetown, although they are forbidden from joining the ranks. Under the Creolite regime, mutants have been offered more favorable opportunity with the recent development of the Neophyte Paramilititaries, allowing Creolite converted mutants to fight alongside the ranks of the Alumni.
Eldritch Mutants
Status: ANIMOSITY
Abominations, creatures of the Flash, repugnant detestations against nature, eldritch mutants are viewed as a direct threat against Sanctum, and thus are typically shot if posing a danger. Eldritch mutants are also a major topic of research within the Alumni's biological fields.
Freaks receive the barely merciful exemption from this rule of on-site euthanasia due to their intelligence, although they are typically warded away from patrols and turned away from Sanctum's gates.
