Alumni's Story Act 0 - Chapter 1: The Alumni

The Alumni, a growing technocracy within the Lake Erie Institute of Technology and Research, have been having increasing rises of desertion. Various members leave while stealing valuable information and technology, attempting to give it towards the highest bidders. As a result of this, one disillusioned member sells information towards the Coalition, causing a strife between the two factions. After short political meetings and a few battles, the two factions move towards a better future by giving up the informant and information, leading to a greater future within the Alumni. Despite this, the current President Arlington continues to further divide the Alumni from the outside world; continuing a reign of isolationism...

Alumni's Story Act 0 - Chapter 2: The Watchman

During the Alumni's descent into isolationism, the faction started to notice internal plans being leaked to the public. These internal plans spanned from secretive operations to possible changes within the laws of Sanctum for the future. Every leak was eventually claimed to be done by a figure known as the "Watchman", who sought to bring fourth lies hidden within the faction's leadership. One notable incident took place where a section of the Public building caught fire and the Watchman was blamed for it. 

In 2162, the incidents took a sharp rise with suspicions of outsider culprits also becoming more common. Several arrests were performed and an execution of one of the Watchman's so-called henchmen. After this execution, the actions of the Watchman started to become erratic, ending with a final act as the Watchman hijacked several droids in attempt to flee the isles. The droids were intercepted and the culprit was unmasked as an Aspirant named "Lyle Mathers", who was summarily arrested and placed in holding in the Compendium Bunker. Months after the arrest, the Watchman was able to escape during a security breach, slipping through the Alumni's hands. Now, Lyle is a wanted criminal of the Alumni and the SRB actively seek those who helped him escape from custody.

Alumni's Story Act 0 - Chapter 3: The Reclamation

Giving the go-ahead to abduct local mutants around the region, President Arlington begins unethical tests on mutants despite backlash from various Executive Directors. Betraying the Alumni, a group of so-called "Freedom Fighters" within the Alumni release the mutants from their cells into the wasteland. Backlash occurs within the Alumni's great Sanctum and within the Southern Isles, calling for a demanding reparations' for those tested on and change within the Alumni. Weeks later, the Great Sanctum Riots occur after complete refusal of elaboration on the mutant tests, causing Chaos within the Sanctum. As the Compendium is soon to be stormed, Executive Directorate Deon "Lucious" Davis calls for the riot to quell upon the complete capture of various "traitors" to the Alumni who participated in the tests.

Utilizing his position of power towards his hand, Deon performs the execution of President Arlington in front of the wastelanders before delivering a speech of change and hope. In the days that pass, the executive directorate deem the next President to be that of Deon; President Lucious. Now is the time to be unified, now is the time for change... but will there...?

Alumni's Story Act 1 - Chapter 1: The Pride Jewel

As the months went by under the leadership of the new President Lucious, a general feeling swept over the Alumni. The reformist leadership was rising steadily, with the others losing their grip on the faction. Eventually, President Lucious saw to it that the prime jewel of the Alumni, their home and pride, the Sanctum, would be restored. Efforts grew from various men and women of the faction alike, rebuilding dilapitated buildings in Sanctum, recreating trade lines that had formerly closed, and even the creation of new districts for all. After long periods of work, the Sanctum was finally restored and once again the Alumni's economy began to boom alongside Bargetown. 

Wastelanders flocked the gates to have a chance of gaining Scrip, bounty hunters and reputable individuals sought to work with the faction to gain entry to the Compendium, and various embassies of neighboring factions within the Island stood erected. The Alumni had become the sword and the shield of Peace, the epitome of President Lucious' goal.

Alumni's Story Act 1 - Chapter 2: Operation Iron Storm

Years ago, the Alumni once enacted various missions towards the mainland of the U.S. from the Sunrise Isles. These expeditionary forces often sought to retrieve information or technology to be brought back to the Sanctum for research. President Lucious decides that such expeditions should once more be a goal of the Alumni and to finally establish their borders on the mainland. An expeditionary force is shortly created with various Alumnites ready to take the task head on. The mass force ships out towards the other side of the lake, a ship full of supplies and minds ready for adventure.

Hours later, the ship is unheard of by the operators at Sanctum, with the expeditionary force being deemed dead due to a severe storm being over the lake. After weeks had passed, when the harsh winter storms returned to the Sunrise Isles, the same expeditionary force returns to Sanctum. Their mass numbers dwindled, many in terrible condition, and some mentally gone beyond hope... something sinister had been faced and yet... they survived.

Alumni's Story Act 2 - Chapter 1: The Seven Deadly Sins

Operation Iron Storm was deemed a colossal failure in the eyes of the Alumni; nothing had been gained and those who survived only came back wounded. Amongst those returned was none other than the banished son of Arlington, Reginald Arlington, who sought to bring back the power of the Alumni Traditionalist Party.  Within weeks, Reginald Arlington had gained a momentous following as he sought debate against the Alumni Reformist Party. The failure of Operation Iron Storm was used against President Lucious, alongside his various reforms over his rule of the faction.

The President's grip over the Alumni soon began to faulter as the Deep Wintertide approached the Sunrise Isles. It became clear; the President was weak and he had to be removed in order for Reginald to ascertain his own goals.

Alumni's Story Act 2 - Chapter 2: Discovery

The Alumni soon discovered the Sunrise Isles held a secret deep underground; a treasure trove of materials in sealed bunkers called HALO Bunkers. With the first bunker being discovered and secured, Reginald sought the perfect way to ensure his rise to power. Teaming with the Spiritualists, Reginald and his traditionalists sought to open and secure the loot within these bunkers to perform an uprising against President Lucious. Day by day, more weaponry and supplies came into their hand with the help of the Creolites; until finally enough was amassed to ensure a swift coup over the Reformationist leadership.

Subsequently, President Lucious was assassinated in broad daylight upon the balcony of the Compendium. With the Sanctum now thrown in chaos, Reginald sought his way towards Presidency against Vice-President Ichar, someone he viewed as weak. However, the Spiritualists had their own goals to seek within the background; away from the eyes of both Reginald and the traditionalists...

Alumni's Story Act 2 - Chapter 3: Festering Wounds

With Lucious out of the way, Reginald and the Traditionalists saw an easy path towards gaining control over the Alumni. Despite this, the Cabal sought Vice President Ichar to ascertain the position. When the new President was announced to be Ichar, Reginald and his followers through the Sanctum into a riot. While the riot ensued, multiple droids within the Alumni soon activated a so-called Genesis Protocol. In what appeared to be an instant, the droids of the Alumni locked down every sector and forced all residents towards the Dormitories. It was there that the Creolite God, Creo, showed himself to the crowd as Reginald and Ichar were both taken into custody.

The Alumni had been led astray by the consistent bickering between the Reformationists and Traditionalists. A new era would arrive, an era of Spiritualism...

Alumni's Story Act 3 - Chapter 1: Creo's Ambition

The new age of the Alumni came with a powerful fist under the Creolite Regime, their religion being forced upon all who resided within the faction. With their forces now amassed, the Creolites sought to elect their own power figure; Arch-Bishop Orpheus, a devoted follower of Creolism. Orpheus sought to root out all who would harm the Creolites, an attempt to enable their rule permanently, and thus led his "Inquisitors" to arrest those against the Creolite Regime. Some sought to simply blend in as to prevent their own arrest while others willingly converted themselves into creolism.

Former friends and family soon found themselves to be enemies as time went on, unfair laws were being enforced upon the residents of Sanctum, and eventually the roots of rebellion began to spread. 

Alumni's Story Act 3 - Chapter 2: Ashes to Ashes

More and more began to believe Arch-Bishop Orpheus was nothing more but a madman, even a few of his own fellow Creolites began seeing his teachings went against the core foundations of their religion. The Sanctum became its own internal battleground as various individuals sought to begin a rebellion against the Creolite Regime, Orpheus only heightened his restrictions upon the Sanctum. Eventually, it was discovered that former President Lucious had survived his assassination and lived in secrecy to ascertain how the Creolites successfully couped the entirety of the faction.

Becoming the face of the rebellion, Lucious and his loyalists fought against the Creolite regime in various skirmishes throughout the southern isle until eventually breaching Sanctum's walls. With the source of the Creolite power shut down and Orpheus's most loyal men defeated, the Sanctum Regulations Bureau swiftly arrest all who had a hand in the Creolite coup. The end of the Creolite regime followed shortly as the Alumni re-established its former glory.
