For my Vinyl T-shirt project I decided to put a rocket on my T-shirt with Curved writing that spelled out "To Infinity and Beyond" inspired by Toy Story the movie. I began my project by finding a rocket icon on the Noun project website by Christelle Mozzati, and then I downloaded it into Illustrator and rasterized and created outlines on the icon. For the text underneath my icon, I faced a bit of a challenge when trying to curve the text instead of only arching the image, I had to use an option within the text tool. First I had to go to the text tool and click on the option type on a path. I then made an oval shape and wrote my text, once my text was written I then changed my font to Sports World by Sergiy S. Tkachenko and then rotated my lettering so it was right-side up and legible. When I finished using illustrator, I used the vinyl cutter to cut out my icons and lettering, and finally I used the heat press to adhere my cut vinyl to my T-shirt.
