Mac OS X

My problem with iWorks.

Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Anything I open in iWorks does not allow any input to be visible. I can open templates and they can be exported to pdf and all the data and pictures is visible but in Pages it is all blank.

I have installed open office and that works fine.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before (yes ...some has an apple call logged and apple cannot fix it it seems)
