Laboratory School of UNP
The University of Northern Philippines' (UNP) laboratory school follows the Philippine K–12 curriculum. The goal of this curriculum is to raise national educational standards and bring it into line with those of other nations. The K–12 system gives children a more thorough academic foundation by encompassing Kindergarten, six years of elementary school, four years of junior high school, and two years of senior high school (SHS).
At the UNP laboratory school, specific attention is given to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) track in SHS, reflecting a strong emphasis on scientific and mathematical competencies. The curriculum incorporates hands-on activities and project-based learning to engage students and enhance their practical skills. Additionally, instructional methods include lecture-discussion, discovery approaches, and technology integration to foster critical thinking and real-world application.
